yo im lookin to buy this car 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse, just rolled over 100,000 miles. Only 23,000 miles have been put on the car in the last six years. It is automatic and non turbo. The car has always been garaged during winter and hardly sees rain. Gets around 25-30 mpg. Modifications include custom katzkin Italian leather seats (the same seats that are used on the TV show Overhaul'n), all black interior with a brand new black carpet, car has a full body kit with an immaculate paint job, it has been lowered with 2" eibach springs and kyb struts and shocks, full magnaflow exhaust, $400 clifford alarm system with paging remote, 17" exel chrome rims, brand new kumho tires with less than 1500 miles on them, sirius satellite radio. http://s249.photobucket.com/albums/gg238/cdawg2308/?action=view&current=291082064_988032169_0.jpg $7900 to much for it?

I think that's way too high. Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail is $6,035 for excellent value. Back in like 1999 I bought a used 1995 with 70k miles Eclipse for 10,500 with a security system. I would not do it. Eclipses are cool cars, but do your research. 120-160k are the trouble miles for the elipse. Theres something fishy by just the looks of that car and the price. If you really want it, I would research as much as possible before buying it. You want to check its VIN, maintenance, and also test drive to see if theres no weird no noises or vibration. The price seems overpriced as well. All he basically did was slap some exterior/interior designs and intake and exhaust. You can do the same thing if you can get eclipse over 100,000 for 3,000 dollars stock and put another 3k-4k of mods and paint. But overall, I wouldn't get it if I was you. That guy just wants all his money back from what he build on it. But around 5k is a good deal though.
That's definitely a reasonable price, you should probably go for like $7,300-$7,500. DO NOT PLAN ON GETTING WHAT YOU PAID FOR IT if you should decide to sell later on. Also, you won't be able to drive it in winter because it's lowered and has ground effects, you'll have to buy a new car in the winter, so if you're okay with that, get it because it's a sick ass car.
