would police do this really........?

ok i have a ford ranger 2006 sport..but if i added rims like 20 inch or 22 inches do police constantly pull you over..people tellin me don't put rims on my truck because they will keep messin with you..is this true if so i do not want it.. but i am gonna need some new wheels because my back wheels are scratched up and im gonna need some new ones but buyhing the factory wheels would cost more than chrome wheels..because there facotry..

1. i recommend against the big fancy ones. most (not all) people who have those are drug users or dealers and that is the reason for the profiling.
