tire sizes for my ranger with 15" chrome wheels I don't want to change.?

I have a 1999 ford ranger 2wd, and I'd like to find some bigger street tires for it. I really like the wheels I have on it now, but I need some new tires for my truck. could you tell me what might be the largest size of tire I could fit on my rangers wheels. give me the size in metric units if you would, like 225/50-15.

1. When you go to the tire place tell the man you won,t the Tallest tire and or the widest with compromising your performance hope this helps
2. if you go to tires.com you could see all sizes your truck wheels can have. I am not sure, but you could go 235/65-15 Good luck!
