Should I Buy this Car(acura integra)?

alright so my friends brother is selling his 1996 acura integra tl. i think it is a tl. anyways they want 900$, but i want to give them 800$ because. -it doesnt run due to a wiring issue(unknown) -back quarter panels are rusted about 1 inch upwards at the most and about 1/4 of an inch all around the wheel wells. -the window tinting has a few bubbles in it -the front passenger door handle has to be lifted up when shutting door from outside. - it has sat out for around 2 and a half years. -im pretty sure there is almost 200,000km if not more. -Needs new tires i think -Prob a disc/brake job On the plus side it has - a brand new carbon fibre spoiler never used still in box in basment. - Pioneer cd/mp3 deck with aux hookup - Custom chrome e brake handle. - Custom chrome shift knob and new leather boot. -Key's Racing wheel.with chrome and leather.including key's logo - driver and passenger Leather Yonaka 4 point racing seats.good condition -Custom MOMO racing pedals. -Additional original spolier. -back seats are leather as well. -and im pretty sure there is a 12" sony sub as well as the old muffler -New muffer/intake installed 2 years ago should i buy it for 800 and fix it or scrap the car and strip it for the parts? HELP thanks alot Liam. I would be using it for parts? worth it?

  1. If you feel that the trouble you will go through parting the vehicle out balances with the $800 you will spend on it...feel free. But knowing that the car is pretty much worthless, your friends should sell the parts of any value themselves and donate the car to a charity and take the tax write off.
  2. yea i'd buy it..acuras last a long time
  3. No. It sounds like too much work is required. The car is certainly not worth a cent.check out the following used car expert websites - check on car value and also get a vehicle inspector to check any car your going to buy and take your Dad with you too! Soemcars wioth high mileage are fine jaguar, rolls royce etc but your average modern car just don't stand the test of time I'm afraid. Also take into account the insurance too.
