Lawnmower won't start?
I just took the blade off and sharpened it and then I put the blade back on and tightened it real good and the mower won't start. It work very fine before this. The manual says to tighten to 60 with a torque wrench, I don't have one. I can't tighten it much more and any looser seems to not work either. The cord snaps back half way once in a while I am not sure what to do. Thank you

- when you weree doing the blade business you my have tipped the mower over too far and the oil at the bottom of the crankcase may have gotten into the piston area and fouled the spark plug and cylinder walls. So check the spark plug for oil If it is so dont try to clean it most times its better to jut go out and get a new one.
- Marvin has it exactly right...Also may I mention..once you pull the spark plug out then pull the cord 4 or five times and excess oil will then blow out of the cylinder....clean the plug..then dip it in gasoline before reinstalling...check the oil before starting for it may be low now because of this...It will smoke like crazy when it fist starts up, but it will go away after it burns all the oil residue out of the cylinder
- Marvin and the pcbeachrat are right on...
