Torque and Chrome

What is the best product to clean chrome rims that have dirt buil up?

I haven't been able to clean my rims in about a month and they have dirt build up on them. I haven't been able to clean my rims in about a month and I just tried to clean with soap & water. The dirt wont budge.

1. Water and a rag....you can buy wheel shine but it doesn't really do any better than a hose and a rag.
2. Mother's chrome polish.

You didn't mention the wheel material so if you have Aluminum wheels that have a mat or cast finish you will have to use a caustic solution or white vinegar or something like Turtle Wax Wheel Brite. I use it on my painted steel wheels and aluminum wheels and it still requires a lot of detail brushing. It is a foam type cleaner. If your wheels are steel you can try Easy Off Oven cleaner.
