Torque and Chrome

Does anyone know what will remove scuff marks from chrome?

My husband has a motorcycle and when i rode it, my boots left scuff marks on the chome....we can't seem to get them off with just regular washing.

  1. sos pad with lots of water and very gentle
  2. um... have you tried rubbing it off, or like, buffing it or something? just so you know, don't ever take pop, like sprite or coke, near it. sprite will eat away the chrome... i know from experience!!!
  3. Use CRC556 or WD40. Also, most automotive polishes or cleaners will work.
  4. Mother's Mag and Aluminum Polish...and elbow grease!
  5. Oven cleaner. Use the stuff that you put on cold and let it soak in over night. In the morning those scuff marks will wipe right off.
  6. For all your cleaning, polishing, and removing water spots, go to store and find some cloths that have a tag on them that says "micro fiber". Will not scratch but removes dirt, water spots, etc. with plain water. Wash the car use in the house. Watch QVC shopping channel and learn all about it. Fantastic stuff
