Torque and Chrome

How do you clean something scorched off of my motorcycle chrome exhaust pipe without damaging the chrome?

Terry cloth material hit it while it was still hot and scorched on the chrome

1. A good paste chrome polish/cleaner should work.
2. Warm the pipes up and use Easy Off Oven Cleaner to take the gunk off for you. It won't hurt the Chrome.
3. Buy S100 soap S100 has no toxic chemicals to worry about It is technically a soap and not a chemical compound that reacts as a solvent, which just about all are toxic or have toxic properties and fumes that you could inhale or ingest through contact with your skin. Or try a toxic chemical compound like Easy-Off oven cleaner, inhale the fumes or have the compounds touch your skin and ingest it that way if you prefer being poisoned like some people suggest you should. After all it won't hurt the chrome at all and I'm sure that's important isn't it?
