Torque and Chrome

What solution sis best to clean chrome rims?

I just bought a car with chrome rims that are dirty (haven't been cleaned in ages) and I wanted to make them nice and shiny again =) Is there any special solution I should be using that will work better than water and soap? Lol. My mother keeps insisting on windex but she knows nothing about rims so I doubt that would work but who knows. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks =)

2. Get some crome polish and some elbow grease, what kind of car is it anyways, im just interested in that kind of stuff.
3. Hi, well mothers is great if you afford it. If you are on a budget you can do it the manual way. Rinse the wheels with clean water then use a rag or a sponge with a mixture of car shampoo and then spray it clean.
