Torque and Chrome

How do I switch to Chrome from IE6? Horribe computer nightmare!?

I downloaded Chrome today from google. I checked marked the custom and the non-microsoft buttons to use chrome in set program access and default. I turn off the computer, 5 minutes later IE6 is back again! Where is the chrome browser? I use Windows XP home edition. Service pack 2.

1. Well, they are two different programs so you will have to find the big "E" for Internet explorer and then right click and choose delete. You must delete it from all programs. Then download chrome, and the logo should be different and say Chrome. Good luck!
2. IE is woven throughout the entire Windows system; deleting it would make all kinds of stuff break & take forever to fix, so don't try to delete it. Just go to Start> Set program access and defaults> select for your default browser your alternate (Chrome?).
