Torque and Chrome

How bad does chrome need to be chipped on my wheels have to be for warranty to work?

I bought some Monster XD 24" from RNR and on the inside of the wheel the chrome is starting to come off, not much but it's starting to come off. do you think I should go to their store and ask them about it or wait till it gets worse? I've only had these wheels for 5 months
