  1. check out tirerack.com
  2. well all i have to say is i hope you enjoy your nice ride while you have it because when u put them rims on it will be rough as fuck
  3. Why then your car will look like every one else's like Mattel made them
  4. Why not save your money and buy a new car, instead of making your busted up ride look totally cheesy
  5. Large rims are not a good idea because: * cost * tires are very expensive * rough ride * worse fuel economy due to increase rotational inertia. * increased braking distance due to increase rotational inertia. * slower acceleration due to increase rotational inertia. * increased brake wear / reduced brake life due to increase rotational inertia. * less responsive handling due to increase rotational inertia. Know the facts before you spend your hard earned money.
  6. just buy a new car lol, dont waste the money on a car like that just buy a better one.
  7. Yes, tirerack.com is probably the cheapest you can find. They will mount the tires and balance them...all you have to do when you receive them is put them on. But to your question. If a person is debating between a 19 and a 20, you need to look at the financial side of it. A 19'' wheel is an odd and not often used size of wheel. Therefore, not only will you have less of a selection when looking at 19 wheels, you also have less of a selection of tires as well. And since they are in low demand, the cost is much greater for a tire that fits a 19'' wheel compared to one that fits a 20" wheel. For example, I recently bought new tires for my wife's GTP....it has a 17'' wheel, which is like the 19's, not many around, and I paid near 1k for 4 tires mounted for a set of top end toyo's. The exact same tire in an 18' wheel was almost 400 less, and when I asked they gave me the same explanation as I just gave you above. I called around first to make sure they weren't making it up, and i got the same response from 4 other tire shops.
  8. its a honda .............not a escalde, dang whats wrong wit ppl putting 20's where they should be puttin 15's and 16's.......if u want 20's buy u another vehicle please
  9. Keep in mind that wheels that big have some serious weight. That extra weight increases your rotational inertia - basically, your engine will have to work harder to get the car moving, and keep it moving - and your brakes will have to work harder to stop it because it's unsprung weight. Heavy wheels are one of the best ways to kill gas mileage. If you're only about looks and don't care about reducing your gas mileage, than you should be fine.
  10. i answer your question on your email. you might wanna check it and also that I agree more with Nigel M, Andrew S and drewdude.... tand yes its true. bigger tires, kill and reduce gas mileage, handling, performance, slower acceleration, tires and break wears, rough ride, and so on. my suggestion is for you to go to http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/results.jsp?filterSize=18&filterFinish=All&filterBrand=All&filterSpecial=false&filterNew=All&autoMake=Honda&autoModel=Accord+Coupe+EX+V6&autoYear=1998&autoModClar=&sort=Brand and choose what trims is your Accord and whether is a 4dr or coupe. also that the limited rims inches for your Accord and your Accord year will be 18" with fender clearance and it will decrease your gas mileage, or performance. so good luck and enjoy the rest of the holiday. take care and happy New Year in advance.
