Torque and Chrome

how do you maintain the chrome parts of your motorcycle?

  1. I keep my motorcycles clean and shiny with S-100 products. The S-100 Total Cycle Cleaner is great! Just spray it on, and road grime slides right off! Rinse with a hose, wipe down with a chamois or a microfiber cloth, and you're done! They also make a Detail + Wax product in an aerosol can for quick touchups, and polishing soap to get those tough water spots off chrome and metal surfaces. You can find S-100 products at most Harley Davidson dealers, and Honda markets the same product under their own label.
  2. I use NeverDull. Available at most motorcycle shops. It is a treated cotton cleaner in a can.
  3. I used to use this special polish/cleaner that came in a small blue can. I believe it was made by a wheel cleaner manufacturer. It was a paste like substance that you rub on and wipe off. The cleaners in that type of form work best as they clean and polish at the same time.
