Torque and Chrome

i just got some rims, black and polished (no chrome) whats the best way to clean them?

without damaging of course

1. hot soapy water
2. tooth brush with rim cleaner.... WD-40 will clean any grease also mean green is a great grease cleaner but mothers/turtle wax cleaners does it best...
