Where can I find this BMW?
A 2002 330i, 4 door sedan, but instead of the 3.0 inline 6 with a 5 spd manual, I want it to have an engine and transmission swap with an M3's 3.2L 6 speed manual. You may say just get an M3, but I want the power of an M3, with the luxury and interior of a 330. I want it either red with black and some chrome trim, or Black with all chrome trim. I want the interior to be light brown, regardless of the exterior color ( I know the darker the exterior color, they tend to have a black leather interior, I want the light brown tan leather interior, trim and dash, whether the car is red or black ) I want a sound system and 19-20 inch rims, but I can do that part on my own. What I need help with is finding a 330i with M3 performance. Anyone know a car website that has project cars that people would do that to? Most 330's I see on cars.com or car sale sights are boring family cars, instead of a perfect blend of speed without losing sight of the luxury aspect.

- I would try car tader, i have seen one of these car advertised in it, but not with the other stuff just with the 330i engine swap
- It's highly unlikely you'll find it as there would be very few people that would be interested in it. Generally, if you want the straight line performance, you also want the chassis to match. your best bet would be to find a 330 equipped how you'd like as far as color and all, and then do some aftermarket upgrades to the engine to increase performance if you think you need it.
- "i want, i want, i want." Unless someone wanted the same thing you do, and went ahead and did it, and is now selling it, you won't find it. You'd have an easier time putting some Forced Induction into your current engine. M3 engine's aren't cheap, and unless you transfer absolutely every single little piece of computer crap and emissions (and essentially every wire) it will trip the check engine light and you'll fail your state inspection. Just find a good deal on a 330i, join www.bimmerforums.com, and get them to help you upgrade it. It'll cost you less, and you won't have to rely on some unknown guy's workmanship. But for God's sake, use the search function on the forum before you post.
- The M3 does have the same luxury and interior as the 330, but with the hardware and chassis to handle the extra 108 HP. Are you just looking for the 4 doors, or the slush box? Not sure what specifically you want in a 330 that the M3 doesn't have. The M3 is a stiffer ride, and has more supportive seats, but for a reason. You need larger brakes, stiffer chassis, harder suspension and tougher transmission, driveshafts, etc for the 333 HP.
