I have a question about Rims for a car
ok i have a new car but im debating on buying rims because when i bought 20 inch chrome rims for my last altima you could hear a sound at certain speeds especially when i was slowing down....is that how all of them are or no?

- no .. you had a rub going on . most likely on the tie rod touching the tire.. did you notice a little "stripe" starting on it.. this is from the backspacing being off.. you can order almost any wheel made for your car and they should not make any abnormal noises... how ever---the tires can make some noises depending on the type you use. besure to order wheel for your car ! give them the style and year. most good tire shops have all the info in their computers for the proper size and backspacing .. good luck
- If you bought cheap rims, than yes that sounds normal, but it could just be the difference in sound between the air rushing over the old ones, and the new ones. If you buy enkei 10-spokes, you are golden. Falken makes some sick ones too, but ive never bought them, im gonna put Falkens on my miata in a few months, and ive never had a problem with aftermarket rims.
