- wd40
- Oops and Goof Off are two products that work great. Oil of any kind will work eventually. Rub.
- goof
- WD-40 or Goo-B-Gone. WD-40 is cheaper though and has THOUSANDS of uses. Try it!
- lighter fluid and paper towel
- i used to detail motorcycles use some windex (or super clean if you can find it, its purple) and some steal wool this was the way to remove leather, skin, gum, etc.
- Yes I have to agree with the other answers.......WD40 works wonderful. Just used it on my husband's semi to remove some sticker numbers. And I had to be very careful not to scratch the semi. Took the adhesive right off....and most people have that around the house
- petroleum jelly the petrol reacts safely and removes adhesive and no harm to paint work. It removed my car decals in seconds. And just wiped clean leaving no oily mess.
- OK, this may sound silly, but I SWEAR I am not pulling your chain or otherwise misleading you.==>Peanut butter. Like dab a bit of peanut butter on a paper towel and rub it around the adhesive, and it will come off. Alot of people have suggested goop and WD40, which works, but strangely enough, peanut butter (IMHO) works better. My college roomate didn't believe me either and bought $20 worth of chemicals to remove adehesive stickies on a metal pipe thingy he was using on a science lab project. The only thing that worked was good old peanut butter. If you don't believe me, try it!
- I've used a degreaser (like simple green) in the past and have had only good results. Melts the adhesive and cleans up the mess.
- Dude, Whatever you do don't use gasoline and a blowdryer.
