Torque and Chrome

Whats the best thing to coat my motorcycle exhaust with, besides chrome?

I want my headers, all the way to the exhaust to be black.

1. There is a ceramic/metalic coating, similar in process to powder coating that may do what you want.
2. Flat black, hi-temp exhaust paint.
3. Flat black high temp paint can work, but you may find yourself coming back to repaint frequently. There's also a ceramic coating that you can use that has had some good results. It's pretty hard and adheres to the pipes really well. Personally, would choose a black cloth wrap.
4. Ceramic coatings are durable, don't change color, won't flake off, and they transfer the heat out the end of the pipe, helping to keep the motor, and possibly your leg, cooler.
