Torque and Chrome

Is the "Tire and Engine" cleaner @ carwash safe on Chrome?

If I take a car on 20 inch chrome rims, u know the kind u can get spending about 2000 for a wheel and tire package, and run it through the carwash... is the wheel and tire cleaner, which degreases quite effectively, welcome on the chromes? and if so, how bad is it actually to splash accidentally on the Car's Clearcoat (2003 audi)

1. its safe because its not sitting on there for a long time, its already wet when its applied, and it wont dry on there (as long as its rinsed off in a timely matter you should be good)
2. well if it isnt somebody is getting a whole lotta complaints
