Torque and Chrome

I have a set of chrome rims that I allowed to sit dirty for a few months. what is the best way to clean them?

I have a set of chrome rims that I used to have on a car that I got rid of. They sat in my garage dirty for a long time and now when I tried to clean them they will not get clean. I have tried using 2 different wheel waxes and also soap and water. Is there anything I can do to get them clean and for how much?

1. theres a certain polish you can get from discount tire works freakin wonders i used it on my boyd coddintgons because the polish faded and with alittle elbow grease they looked brand new..its called metal polish thats it ask them its like 10 bucks
2. Use Tarnex.. It will buff clean the entire rim with no problems....
3. ketchup the acid will remove any and all dirt and rust if you have any on your wheels
