i have a white 92 ls400 lexus and was thinking of putting black rims with a chrome lip, what do you think ?

- That would look good on a white car. Go for a medium to thick spoke design unless you have painted calipers, though. Mechanical bits show too well on a white car with thin spokes.
- would look nice, what i dont like about black rims is that they sometimes look like youre rolling on spare tires lol but the chrome lip makes a decent look i prefer metalic(gun metal, hypercoated, hyper black, ect.) over anything though
- I love the black center rims. Go for it but don't go bigger than 17s on that small of a car.
- thats always a good color combo. I'd reccomend personally to go with a high polished lip over chrome. You will not be able to tell the difference either way but polished is MUCH easier to keep clean over a long period of time, you dont have to worry about chrome peeling and best of all you can easily repair small-medium scratches or heavy curb rash. By the way man, check club lexus in the LS400 section to get the right wheel fitment and tire size. Last thing you want is getting wheels in wrong offset or tires too skinny or too fat that rub. Good luck. LOL, to the person above, LS400 is anything but a small car.... its lexus flagship full size sedan.... you should know that if you really work for Lexus.
- Honestly Im a car fanatic, and the black rims on a lexus ls400 white exterior doesn't look good. UNLESS of course you get a bigger rim size then a 15 [stock]. Probably a 17 would do it, but honestly on the Lexus especially the older ones they look better with chromes. 15" chromes should do it. Cuz then it gives the car some class, other than "trying" to be sporty.
- i think its played out. the trend of black wheels on light color cars has come and gone. i would suggest getting something in silver. its timeless and classic. it will never go out of style.
