How do you adjust a torque wrench?
I have torque wrench that has two settings, Nm and MKP (and I have no idea what those mean). There's 2 different sets of reading too: one is around the handle (it's black), and the other is kind of a tree format (the numbers are stacked on top of each other), and that part is above the handle, but goes into the handle when you push it closed. I already know how to convert ft-lbs, into Nm, but I don't know how to set it. Please help me out!

- At the top of the sliding scale (towards the middle of the wrench) there should be a lock ring that generally turns to the right to release and left to lock. Release the ring, turn your base handle to the desired setting, lock the ring. Sometimes the lock rings get stuck, you may have to use a pair of pliers. Good Luck!
- MKP means kilo-Pascale's, another way of measuring torque. If you don't know how to use a torque wrench, find out hands- on with someone. Torque values are specific and important.
