Chrome wheels!?

Is it normal for the steering wheel to vibrate at 40 mph with custom 20 inch chrome rims? The car is align and no previous vibration until I put on the rims.

1. Did you have them spin balanced? No wheel is perfectlly balanced, they have to be balanced on a special machine.
2. They have to be balanced with stick on weights with a balancing machine. You might want to also ask for hub centric rings which center the rim on to the hub itself making the fitment perfect.
