Torque and Chrome - I was wondering if i can send my PS3 to sony to get a brand new covering and the chrome plate?

I was wondering if i can send my PS3 to sony to get a brand new covering and the chrome plate?

I want to get a brand new cover for the PS3 where it says Playstation 3 and a new chrome plate where u insert the games, Will sony do that?

nah, which ps3 have you got? just out of curiousty lol, i havent seen one without a chrome cover yet.... ah well, sorry but they wont...
No Sony wont change it. The chrome plate was made for only certain PS3's. I know the original 60 gig PS3 has it but not sure about the others. Do a web search for companies that can do custom PS3 colors. A lot of them can change the look of the PS3 a bit.
I'm sure if you paid them enough money, they'd customize it ANY way you want to - but for FREE, don't hold your breath ;););););)
