Torque and Chrome

I want to get some parts on my car chrome plated, however, it is very expensive. What are some alternatives?

Are there any alternative finishes I can have done that are cheaper than chrome and have a chrome-like finish? Thanks.

1. I don't know the cost of it, but Powder Coating is a durable finish that alot of people have been using for a while. If you know anyone who works in a shop, see if they can send it out in a lot of parts for you. If not, you should still look into it, I don't know the cost, but I am guessing it would be cheaper than chrome. There is also anodizing for aluminum,once again I don't know the per piece cost on that either. But it comes in different colors as does powder coat.
2. Sure... aluminum spray paint in a rattle can. There is not an alternative to chrome plating.
