how much is a chrome plating system big enough to chrome bumpers?

  1. It's a very extensive process not to mention hazardous. Many different process tanks and chemicals involved including a waste treatment system. EPA Regulations are so strict now that it's nearly impossible to get an electroplating permit in any town, city or state. To set up properly, in a big enough facility to plate bumpers it would take a boatload of money. 50% of the work to plate a bumper or any part for that matter is in the preparation before it reaches the plating tanks which means you would need to purchase metal finishing equipment also
