- There are no retail outlets for new Snap-On tools.. You may get lucky and find some used Snap-On tools at a pawn shop or something like that.. You can also email Snap-On or go to the website and find one of the dealers, make a phone call to him/her and buy it from them. I have several torque wrenches and two of them are Craftsman... Snap-On is gonna be quite pricey... if you are just gonna use this torque wrench a couple of times non professionally, I would buy a craftsman. Craftsman is about 69.00 for a clicker type 1/2" drive where a Snap-On will be about 200.00.
- i wish i knew. i have a 1/2 in. drive ratchet i need to replace. i heard they had lifetime on their tools.there use to be a truck run around here that sold snap-on tools. you might try napa or some other parts store, like them, they might have them.
- Normally, Snap-On tools are sold through dealers/distributors. Like Mac tools, the company has trucks that they send to repair shops and dealerships to sell their product. Many technical automotive institutes will be given deals on their first tool sets. I am unaware of any national commercial business that carries the brand. If you're not repairing cars for a living, I'd just stick with Craftsman, they're far cheaper, still hold the lifetime warranty, and can be replaced through Sears.
- No they do not have stores that you can just walk into, sorry you will have to deal with the on line process or try to buy from one of there trucks rolling around the area so you can forget about that one for it is very slim.
