Torque and Chrome

I need to know how to use a torque wrench. It is powr-kraft brand.?

1. adjust the wrench to whatever spec you have and tighten untill it clicks
2. 2 types of torque wrench :needle type and rotating "click" type. the needle one you turn (on the bolt) and read the foot-lbs, the click type you twist to the desired ft-lbs setting and then turn the bolts until it clicks. i have heard trhat the click type is more accurate, but i haven't researched it. we have both.
3. Well before you begin you should know the torque specification for what ever it is you are about to torque. Than set your wrench to that spec. Now depending in if your wrench is a dial or a Gage tighten you bolt to the point where it is down( with another wrench you do not want to use your toque for this it could throw off the calibration) Then use your torque wrench to tighten to spec. listen for two clicks and you done. Congratulations!!! You have successfully used a torque wrench.
