Why are the letters on Project Torque all block-ish and unreadable? I just recently downloaded Project Torque and all the letters on the main menu, like what I assumed to be the word "username" and "password" are unreadable. But they do have the same number of letters and often resemble the word so i can sometimes pick it out. But seriously someone should tell me whats up its only the font that "username" and "password" is in.

what is your review in project torque and drift city? my review : my project torque score is 9.5 I like this game so much than drift city , its the best MMO racing for me, now i will never boring with Project Torque , it has great graphics , is like a real racing that you must control the drift and handling , most of the things are free , except ( licensed cars and some of the misc items ) The AP are cheap , $1 = 100AP , you need $7 to buy AE86 , so its cheap after buying AP , you also can get bonuses AP. My score in Drift city 4.0 Drift City make me boring , driving 150MPH is just like driving in 50MPH , rubish graphic , always lag after get out of dome or get in, most of the drift shop items were Gcoins! but with Gcoin , it would expire in a few days or months , so it is a waste of money , Races is unfair coz of the gates , boring mission , always play the same thing . thats all my review , i love project torque more than drift city. I need help with project torque? Hey umm i wanted to try out project torque and so i downloaded it and tried to play the game and its saying it cant connect to the server on the internet.But i am on a desktop and never lose connection from internet. I have windows vista. Now i thought that the server might just be down for a lil while so i tried it again the next day and now it wants to get the everyday upgrade thing. But as it was trying to get the upgrades it said this...: Invictus LIVE!could not connect to the internet because you did not connect to the internet or your proxy settings are wrong!(3) now im only 15 so i dont know much so i searched the internet for help and cant find anything so this is my last hope or else im gonna forget about the game so plz help.
Video Card Not Up To Date Project Torque Game? I'm having a little problem with this new online game. Project Torque besides it taking a lifetime to install. The first run was successful. I enjoyed playing the game for a while did a few first run missions and things. I exit the game to come back a few hours later to find out that it says "Video Card Not Up To Date" every time I load the game. I pay no attention, but I pay no attention the first time going into the game. I then notice my game play is effected by shapes and dysfunctions for this error. Is there anyway to fix this problem. Currently I have the game uninstalled but I would like to play it without downloading all over again. I still have the saved .exe file on my harddrive.

Project Torque or Drift City? Both MMORPG games, but different. Drift City is more of adventure car game. You go around do missions, you only race in Battle Mode and get exp and level up. Torque is a racing game. Depends on you, if you want a racing game or not. if you suck at racing get Drift if your good get torque

I suck at drifting in Project Torque, help ? I see all these guys scoring like 7 - 15 million points in Drift Mode, but every time I try to drift (Panama GT Ray or Stallion FalCon) I loose control very quickly. On the other hand, when I drift with my Corus or Wizz I do great (make around 2.8 - 3.2 million points). Where can I find a video / website with a tutorial for drifting ? Keep in mind that I only wanna drift in Drift Mode, I don't care about Simulation VS.

hi,im doin a project on an RC car but i dont kno how to find speed and/or torque.can anyone help please? hi, my name is Jolene, 20, studing aerospace, im using the RC car to create an electromagnetic braking system. i've replaced one of the wheels with a metal disc, and 2 electromagnets on either side attached to an aluminium frame( like this ]- | -[ where the brackets are the aluminium frame, line int he middle is the disc and the minus signs are the magnets). it doesn't seem to work. the feild produced is way too small.i connected one of the solenoid to a car battery but it only seemed to heat. if anyone has any ideas on wat i can do to make the FIELD produced by the electromagnets to stop the disc from rotating please help. if u can, suggest any formulas and other requirements (i.e. weight of the disk, speed of rotation,etc) to make this work.

I need a certain DC motor and driver for my project.? Hi, I'm designing a project for my linear controls class, for what we call a sound activated dog door (door opens upon bark of dog). help needed in my project "compressed air driven vehicle" full information given? the engine of my proposed vehicle is a pneumatic impact wrench ,the one we see in automobile garages for turning nuts.. these are always run by a compressors operating parallely for the supply of compressed air ( fuel ).the specifications of the pneumatic wrench that is thought to be as the prime mover (engine) are.... 1.air consumption --- 6cfm(cubic feet per minute) 2.operating pressure ---6.2 bar (90 psi,pounds per square inch) 3.max torque --- 500 lb-ft (678N-m) 4.weight --- 4.6 Kg the project should not include a compressor ,instead vehicle should be incorporated with a air storage tank .so it is thought appropriate to use a well capacitated tank that can store compressed air at atleast 30 bar so that the vehicle could run some distance..say abt 400 to 500 meters. the storage tank specifications are diameter-40 cm length - 1 m (even though the tank has hemispherical ends the additional volume is not included) volume of cylinder= 3.14(pi) x rad^2 x length =3.14*.04*1=0.125cu m (cubic meter) 1cu m = 100 litre (lt)==>0.125 cu m = 125 lt (this 125 lt is the capacity of cylinder) the compressed air is thought to be stored in the tank at the pressure of 30 bar. so the total amount of air available is equal to 125 * 30 = 3750 lt ( this is called as total air capacity) but... the wrench does not run if pressure falls below 6.2 bar right!so the air capacity at this pressure ie 6.2 bar is 125 * 6.2 = 875 lt ( rounded to 875 ). so the total air available for the wrench to function is ( 3750-875 )lt = 2875 lt take it as 2800 lt (for minimum time for which the wrench can be operated) .the air consumption of wrench is 6 cfm = 171.4 lt/min.(round it of to 175 lt/min for min time)so the time for which the wrench can be operated is (2875 lt)/ (175lt/min)=16 minutes. the total work(W.A) that can be done with the compressed air in the tank is equal to (V * dp); V = capacity of cylinder & dp is the pressure difference i.e (30 bar - 6.2 bar)=23.8 bar.so W.A = 0.125 cu m * 23.8 bar = 297500N-m (bcoz 1 bar = 10 ^5 N/sq m).so work available W.A = 297500 N-m . now consider the total loads on vehicle 1.weight of structure of vehicle = 200 kg 2.wt of person = 100 kg 3.wt of cylinder = 125 kg ( i guess) 4.wt of wrench = 5 kg 5 weight of compressed air at 30 bar= 4.5 kg 6.extra fittings wt = 25 kg (say) total weight = 459.5 kg (say it as) 475 kg so this mass is acting vertically downwards in "y - axis" so the normal reaction (N) acting on vehicle is (m*g)==> 475 * 10 = 4750 N .THE VEHICLE HAS TO MOVE IN " X - AXIS " right! so it has to have a mininum force so as to overcome frictional force which is equal to ( u * N ); where u = coeff of friction between wheel and tyre .since the frictional force is rolling friction it is very less; also once it starts moving the frictional force ( F ) to be overcomed for the movement decreases the F = 0.15 * 4750 = 712.5 N say it 720 N. AM I right ??? does my pneumatic wrench helps in moving the vehicle ??? what i think is...... 1.the value of F is much less than 720 N when in motion.work = force * distance ;the above calculated work is equated to F * d (d = distance moved )force is 720 N so.... d = 297500/720 = approx 400 m . but in actual i thing it is still more cos of gear arrangement bcos of which speed increases and hence distance ,also it is rolling friction and not static so once the body is set to motion ,there is no need to apply 720 N even lesser force would be enough!! am i right???????????? 2.even though 3 gear shifts are proposed for speed increments of vehicle ,for convinience and for finding out whether the initial torque provided by wrench is sufficient in moving the vehicle , i assume that the wrench is directly coupled to axle by a gear arrangement such that the direction of rotation of the wrench's drive is turned by 90 degrees so that the axle rotates in the direction of rotation of wheels . ok!!!!! now due to such a SUN - PLANET gear arrangement let the torque fall to a value like.... say around 550 N-m (i.e from 678 N-m to 550 N-m )so now the axle is driving both the rear wheels with 550 N-m.this torque is constrained to the curcumference of axle only!!??? got ittt!!!! i mean ... torque = force * distance ok!!this force acts tangential to the axle's circumference and distance is equal to radius of axle ( say it .02 m) hence what i meant was the above torque is torque acting on axle only ; 3.the force required to move the vehicle overcomming the friction is 720 N which acts tangential to the rear wheels!!! am i right??????so the torque required to move vehicle is = ( 720 * radius of wheel ) ==> 720 N * 0.2 m = 144 N-m okkkk but the torque available at axle is 550 N-m i.e at distance of 0.02 m from center of axle ..so the torque with which the axle twists the wheel is equal to ????? it can be found from equation torque (T) = F * distance ==> T is directly proportional to distance ( radius) so Ta/ Ra = Tw/ Rw (Ta = torque at axle, Rw = rad of wheel ,Tw = torque at wheel ,Ra = radius of axle ); so 550/.02 = Tw/.2 ==> Tw=5500N-m;that is huge amount of torque is available for the movement; actual required torque is 144 N-m which is veryyyy small to what is available ,even if the torque required is more say around 300N-m ,it can also be overcomed . ?????? am i right ???????if not plsssss suggest meee and correct mee ?????? am i right ???????if not plsssss suggest meee and correct mee

Chevy Car project? I am looking into buying a 1967 Chevy Impala 4 door hardtop for a project car. I was wondering what would be the better thing on doing. Buying a new engine for the car right away or using the current engine untill it gives up. How much torque (planning to use a servo) do I need in order to pluck a standard acoustic guitar string? Im working on a project where my team is designing and fabricating an automated acoustic guitar player. I am planning on using RC Servos in order to pluck the strings but Im having a hard time deciding on what size/force servo I need. I would definitely prefer the smallest servo possible that will do the job but I have not been able to find any information on how much torque is needed in order to pluck a string so I can decide how much torque my servo needs to produce. Does anyone have any suggestion or advice on this issue? Thanks!
Amphibious vehicle project? Hello I have got a problem with my university's engineering project. We need to design and make a vehicle that can move both on the ground and float on water (like a boat). I reaallly need help to get started especially with the motor and gear mechanism. Plus, what kind of wheels that can work as paddle when floating. The project is considered a success if those requirements are met: 1.It can move on the ground and float on water without any difficulties 2. It must have enough torque to move across a duct filled with water. 3. The fastest car that manage to go up a ramp then move across a water-filled duct then move down a ramp is the winner. So, basically, this thing can be of any kind as long as it fulfills those 3 requirements. But, the major problem is we can only use a typical DC motor; so how could we produce enough torque out of that? Please suggests and recommend anything (including books and models that available) so that I can get started. Thank you very muchh!!
What would be the most efficient (readily available) engine for a homebuilt car on a hp/torque per lb basis? I have often toyed with the idea of trying to fabricate my own lightweight ultra-efficient little car. What engine would be a good base for a project like this keeping in mind that I would want a reasonable amount of horsepower and torque but also for the engine/transmission to be as light as possible. Audi A4 B6 mini project questions? I bought a 2004 Audi A4 three months ago with roughly 45000 miles on it. I noticed that the acceleration isnt as spiffy as it used to be and i wanted to make a few minor upgrades to it. 18 inch rims, tires that grip like no tomorrow, a new intercooler and exhaust. I just wanted to put about 20-50 horses on it without needing to change more things to keep up with the other upgrades. Is there anything else i should get for it to increase torque and horses without overdoing it and risking handleing? Also what kind of tires give good handling in dry and wet roads? I'm new to car tuning and just want to make the car "clean" without overdoing it. haha to tell you the truth i just want to outrun some of these BMWs haha. Thanks for listening.

How do I make my computer run faster without a graphics card? I have a HP pavillion a1210n running xp. It goes at decent speed and can run most of my games (frets on fire, trickster online, halo, etc.). But I'd like to know if I can make it run faster. Need help in building a remote controlled chair for a school project?
