How would one measure the plating thickness of a chrome application? ? What tools, process, methods, test standards, or other info can you share with me about how chrome plating thickness is usually measured ? Is there not a tool specifically for this job (not a microscope) ?

I need help in finding someone to do chrome plating...? I want to get the both sides of my 1992 Kawasaki Vulcan VN1500A's engine covers chrome plated.
