Which car would you rather have? I have a ford mustang (not GT) that is red with black racing stripes, a custom grill, chrome rims, and red neon lights installed on the interior. Some other kid came up to me and making fun of me because he must think his car is way better. He had a Dodge Charger with a hemi and no modifications. Can a dull aluminum rim be polished into a mirror finish? I made a mistake and bought a rim off ebay with the wrong finish. It's the exact style and metal (aluminum) as my other rims, however those have a mirror finish while the one I bought has a dull finish. Can a custom rim shop polish the aluminum rim to a mirror finish so it matches the rest? Or is having the rim powder coated and chrome dipped my better option? Will it look the same? It has a full saleen bodykit, two tone paint job (black top silver bottom), the Hood is also two tone, tinted windows, 20in black and chrome rims, and new Faulken performance tires, Smokes LED tail lights, angel projector head lights with HIDs, It has various light switches to control the underbody LEDs and interior LEDs, ( also the underbody LEDs have a remote), as for the interior, the seats are leather and have a two tone color that matches the car, it has an in-dash stereo tv that has a camara for reverse, Custom tweeters installed in the triangles from the side mirrors, all the Speakers are Infinity Kappa series, powered by hifonics amps as well as 12 in kicker subs, as for whats under the hood is pacesetter shorty headers, camshaft, K&N air intake, red top battery, as for suspension, i got the Gt sway bar, Eibach sport line springs, tokico blue shocks and struts. also i have a true dual exhaust with high flow magnaflow cats and flowmaster 40series, I know im missing other things but this is pretty much an overview. My brother wants to trade his 2005 Ford F150...? My brother owns a 2005 Ford F150 Super crew. I think he paid $21,000 for it. The truck does worth the money. The truck has custom 24" chrome rims, Kicker Sound System, Gps, Fiberglass Bed, Lin con navigator front grill, and a lot of extras. What is happening with him right now is that his father in law offer him a trade. They are offering a 2001 Chevy Tahoe, 2000 Pontiac Grandprix Gt, and $4,500 cash. None of the vehicle are custom. My brother ask me for my opinion and I told him to stay with his truck and stop messing with the vehicles because he will end up with nothing. I also told him that on the other hand its ok because he will own 2 vehicles and have little extra cash for his personal expenses. I told him that his truck is in perfect condition, and if he does trade his truck he will not know how the other cars are doing and that in the future they may stop working and he will end up investing in them. Has anyone had trouble putting custom wheels on a Toyota Highlander? I have a 2005 Toyota Highlander, and I want to put chrome wheels on it. I ordered some from a website that are supposed to fit a Highlander, but the wheel studs are too short, by the time you add a spacer and the rim, the lug nuts only thread on 3 turns. Help. Please! I have lots of money in these wheels that, right now, are sitting in my garage collecting dust. And I doubt I'd be able to send them back, even though the website said that these fit.

I've decided to buy a 883 sportster custom. The guy wants....? $3800 for a 1993 with 26k mileage on it. Rims - Weight ratings (what dealer says vs common sense)? I was given a set of aluminum 8 lug rims that are 16.5" x 12" for my 1989 Chevy Suburban R2500. The rims are identical to the ones in the link below, except they are just bright aluminum rather than chromed. Any ways, there is a sticker on in rims that say "max load 2000lbs". This is where I am concerned, the Suburban I have is a 3/4-ton, however it is a HD model and according to vehicle scales it weighs 10,436lbs. It was a custom ordered vehicle with a one ton frame and rear end and massive suspension, if you do the math and distribute 10K lbs to 4 wheels, that exceeds what the rims state they are limited to. Now I know there is more weight on the front than the rear, but it still comes out as exceeding what the manufacturer says. Yet every tire dealership I have been to says it doesn't make any difference and it's safe to use these tims on this truck. what size of tires would fit best on my truck? I have a 1987 chevy custom deluxe 2wd and I was wanting to put some new tires and rims on it. I dont have a lot of money to spend (like 700.00 bucks) and I was wondering what a good size would be for this truck and what would go easy on my pocketbook? I'm not wanting it raised or lowered or to look any wider or anything. If I go lower I dont want it by very much. I also want it to look fairly good for the price. Bad luck!? I own a 2002 GMC Sonoma regular cab. It's primered, has stock rims and tires, security tinted windows, door poppers, a roll pan, custom tail gate and a T.V. deck. I'm trying to fix it up and cutomize it to my standards. I want to put chrome rims, a couple 12" subs in a custom box, a new paint job, and freshen the interior a bit. The problem I'm having and whats been keeping me from doing all of this is that my truck has been stollen, broken into, and unsuccessfully someone attempted to break into it on three separate occations. All of this just within the past year! I dont know what to do, this is my 1st vehicle and I've had it for almost 6 years. I love my truck and I have an alarm system on it but I'm always afraid someone is going to mess with it. How much would you pay for this truck? The truck is a 2006 purchased mid 2005, it is a Nissan Titan 5.6L SE and was purchased brand new. The truck is going on 3 years old and only has 18,440mi on it, it has an after market custom billet grill, flow master exhaust (cat back, 2” pipe with a 3” tip, very loud) and after market ION off-road black on chrome rims. The interior is near perfect with only a little “wear and tare” near the steering wheel controls, and next to the shifter, speaking of which is has full stereo controls on the steering wheel, 6 disc in dash CD player, after market Rockford Fosgate component speakers ($400), automatic control captain’s chair (drive side only). It is also the model with the shifter instead of the steering wheel shift (see photo below). The exterior of the truck is kept in almost mint condition, I wash and wax the car twice a month there are a few little tiny scratches and one super small ding on the passenger door (parking structures…what can you do?). The truck also comes with back-up censors on the rear bumper it has a temperature gauge inside the truck which also tells you which direction you are heading. Kelly Blue Book tells me the truck is worth only $14k which I think is a little low considering at going on 3 years old it only has the miles of a 1 year old car and has been kept in extremely good condition, not to mention all of the after market enhancements. The truck is a 1984 chevy K30 one ton , regular cab 8ft box.It has a T400 transmission , dana 60 front and a corporate rear floating axel. NP-205 transfer case with custom driveshafts.454 big block with a few upgrades and nicely done duel exhaust.Hurst racing shifter , its an automatic by the way. The truck originally had very low miles , the body has no dents , rust or any imperfections and is all original. The truck was professionally repainted and rhino lined along with a motor overhaul and performance upgrade less than 5k miles ago.Sits on american racing chrome rims. any thoughts would be great!

Hit curb at about 30 mph? I didn't slow down for a turn. Dumb on my part. It's fun taking corners sharp. I don't do it anymore after this. But I was at a light and i took a left turn real quick and I saw a motorcycle come up on the same direction I was turning, so i swerved a bit to not hit them. And i hit a draining ditch curb. It was loud. I almost lost control. I'm a young driver. And So then I pulled over off the road. and the right passenger side rim was scratched. And my tires were okay. I was frickin scared. Now theres some scratches on it. Only on a certain part. Will it rust. They are custom. I don't know if they are chrome or aluminum. And I don't have enough money to take it to the shop yet. New paint vs waxing glossing factory paint on a car? I have a 95 Buick and it has a decent factory paint with some rock chips. I was thinking about getting a custom paint job from Maaco done for $1,600. However, since the paint is already pretty decent, I'm thinking about saving money and just getting the car glossed up and waxed, etc. Will that be a better decision and how much does it usually cost? Will the gloss make the paint shine like new again? I have $2,200. If I can get it done for around $500, I can spend the rest on some 22" rims w/ tires. Or I can just get 17" chrome for $600 and do a custom paint job for about $1,600. Custom paint job with 17" rims vs 22" chrome with glossed up factory paint... what y'all think?

Selling my 99 Mazda B2500? Ive have recently decided to sell my truck. Its a white B2500, 2WD, Single Cab, with 67,000 miles on it. Since I bought the truck I have put 10 inch custom alloy rims on it, an Alpine stero with an ipod adapter, L.E.D. glow lights under the dash and seats, viper security system with remote entry, and I welded on a chrome exhaust tip onto it. Im selling it because its too slow and because there aren't very many aftermarket parts available for it (ex: euro tail lights). Is $4000.00 a reasonable asking price for the truck? Ive been looking at mitsubishi eclipses and they seem to be pretty solid cars with plenty of aftermarket parts available. What do you guys think? Is it a reasonable price? What about Eclipses? Are they a good car for racing? Yeah AC blows Ice cold and the truck has bedliner, leather, seats, new tires, and new brakes pads. I was looking at either a 97 or 98 GSX eclipse. The new eclipses are garbage indeed.
