Need a local vendor for custom motorcycle license plate frames in San Francisco CA area? I am looking for a vendor of custom license plate frames for motorcycles. We have a font that is trademarked and need it on the frames so we don't want to use a online vendor (even though I've found some good ones) because we need to ensure the font is not duplicated for any other use aside from ours. Anyways does anyone in the Northern California area, preferably near the Bay area know of anyone that does plate frames? Saw one pop up at the mall back in the day but don't know of anything free standing that will be around for more then just Christmas. Also, not lookin for the cheap ones that are just a plastic piece that's cut then glued to the frame, I want the good one piece ones. Need someone that can do Black and Chrome frames. This is for a group of guys here in the area, not for advertising so need a company that doesn't have a huge quantity requirement for orders.

Which would reflect light better, chrome or white? ? Hubby and I are making two custom lamps out of motorcycle fenders. There will be a light bulb under each fender pointed straight down. He wants to paint the underside of the fenders chrome to reflect light outward better. I say that painting the undersides white would reflect better. Which of us is correct?

What is the motorcycle brand with the initials B C? It was a chopper with a kick start.? I thought it was Barnes Cycles or Barington Cycles or something like that, but I haven't figured it out yet. Really classy/steampunk looking Chopper/Custom type bike. The kick start actually looked like a chrome bicycle pedal. I'm dieing to find out more about this bike! I later saw a small bumper sticker with the same brand/logo, BC in a cursive esque font. Thanks! Jess

How do I sue someone out of state without hiring a lawyer? My boyfriend ordered a custom sissy bar for his motorcycle about 7 months ago. He found the guy online, sent him picture of his bike, and the guy sent him some sketches. My bf picked a design and the guy fabricated a custom sissy bar, had it chromed and sent it to us. The chrome job was bad and since my bf's bike is a show bike the chrome is very important. He contact the man to let him know the chrome job was bad. He instructed him to return the bar, he would have it re-chromed and returned to him. Months later, with no word from the guy my bf got an email from him stating that he got the bar and had it sent to be re-chromed and would pick it up in a week. This was in November. He is no longer returning phone calls, emails, and even his website is no longer up. My bf is out $500 for the bar, $200 for the chrome, at about $200 for his brackets he had sent for the bar to be welded to. He wants to sue the guy but he is in New Jersey and we are in Wisconsin. He spoke with a lawyer who said it wouldn't be worth it to hire him to represent him in court because of the small amount of the claim. Is there any way to sue him short of hiring an attorney or going to New Jersey himself? Can a non legal (say a power of attorney) represent you in small claims? I also heard that if you purchase something online you can file in your own county since you purchased it at home. Also, could criminal charges of theft apply since the brackets are my bf's property, original to the bike? Can anyone offer some advice?
Hit curb at about 30 mph? I didn't slow down for a turn. Dumb on my part. It's fun taking corners sharp. I don't do it anymore after this. But I was at a light and i took a left turn real quick and I saw a motorcycle come up on the same direction I was turning, so i swerved a bit to not hit them. And i hit a draining ditch curb. It was loud. I almost lost control. I'm a young driver. And So then I pulled over off the road. and the right passenger side rim was scratched. And my tires were okay. I was frickin scared. Now theres some scratches on it. Only on a certain part. Will it rust. They are custom. I don't know if they are chrome or aluminum. And I don't have enough money to take it to the shop yet. This is my car and I don't want my parents to know. Do I need to get anything checked out also? My signal light came off too and I shoved it back in. I drove it today. It's not moving on its on. Driving like it always has. Just wanna be sure
funny new jokes tell me if you get and what do it mean lol? A young guy bought himself a shiny new motorcycle covered with nickels and bright chrome. He asked the salesman, what can I do to protect it from rust? the salesman replied when it starts to rain, immediately put petroleum jelly on all the shiny parts. Soon after, his girlfriend invited him for a big family gathering at her parents house. On the day of the event, he parked his new motorcycle outside and went in to see that there were over 80 guests at the table. The girls father explained to him that in our house, there is a custom; the one who says the first word after the food has to wash all the dishes. The moment everyone finished eating, there was complete silence. For two hours no one said a word. Finally, the boy had enough; he moved some dishes aside, laid his girlfriend on the table and banged her in front of everyone. No one said a word. Another half hour passes, the boy takes the girls mother and does the same thing to her. Again, no one dares to speak. Suddenly it begins to rain so the boy pulls out the petroleum jelly out of his pocket. Seeing that, the girls father said: you won, Ill do the dishes. An absolutely stunning 23 year old girl desparately wanted to be rich.....but she certainly didn't want to have to work. She didn't like the thought of marrying a rich guy, because it would only put a damper on all her party action. After a lot of thought, she decided her best bet was to marry some really old rich guy so that her departure from the party scene would be brief. After a good deal of searching, she set her sights on a west Texas oilman/rancher who was pushing 90 years of age. After wooing the man with all she had, they were married. He flew her to Manhattan for the honeymoon, taking her to the fanciest suite in the best hotel in town. After getting to their rooms, the old man wandered into the bathroom. The girl draped herself in the sexiest teddy she had and stretched out on the bed thinking how after only one night, she was bound to be a very rich widow. Presently the old man walked out of the bathroom sporting the most enormous erection the girl had ever seen, and it was sheathed in a condom. The old man had wads of cotton stuffed in both ears and a clothespin on his nose. Jumping off the bed, the girl asked "Why the hell do you look like that?"..... The old man chuckled and said "Darlin', there are two things in this world that I just can't stand..... the sound of a woman screaming and the smell of burning rubber". A secretary for a foreign embassy was entertaining a wealthy foreign ambassador during lunch at a very expensive restaurant in uptown New York. The ambassador was so enthralled by the beauty and presence of this secretary that he asked her to marry him. The secretary was startled, but remembered that her boss told her never to insult foreign dignitaries, so she decided to let him down easy. "I'll only marry you under three conditions." "Anything, anything," said the ambassador. "First, you must buy me a 14-karat gold wedding band with a 72 carat diamond, along with a 28 inch studded matching necklace for our engagement." Without hesitation, the ambassador picked up his cellular phone, called his personal accountant, told him the instructions, and said, "Yes, yes, I buy, I buy!" The secretary thought that her first request was too easy, so she thought of a more difficult situation. "Second, I want you to build me a 58-acre mansion in the richest part of the Poconos along with a 40 acre summer home in the sweetest vineyards of France." The ambassador picked up his phone, called his personal broker in New York, then called another broker in France, and after his quick conversation, he said, "Yes, yes, I build, I build!" The secretary was very startled, and knew she must think of a final request that would be impossible to live up to. "Finally," she said. "I'll only marry you if you have a 10 inch penis." A sad face befell the ambassador, and he cupped his face in his hands. After weeping in his native language for a few minutes, the ambassador slowly lifted his head and said, "Ok, ok, I cut, I cut!" A young guy drops off his girlfriend at her home after being out together on a date. When they reach the front door he leans up against the house with one hand and says to her, "How about a blowjob?" "What! Are you crazy!" "Don't worry, it will be quick," he ensures his girlfriend. "No! Someone might see us..." "It's just a small blowjob," he insists, "and I know you like it." "No! I said no!" "Baby... don't be like that." "Come on baby pleeeeaassseee" "I'm not going to give you a blow job" "Why Not...baby it will be quick I promise?" Suddenly, the girl's younger sister shows up at the door in her nightgown, with her hair a mess, and rubbing her eyes. She looks at them and smirks, "Dad says to tell your boyfriend
In the song "Stuntin' Like my Daddy" what bike is Lil Wayne referring to when he says "chromed out 1100"? The song line goes "vroom on the Yamaha...chromed out 1100..." Now, I am not aware of a Yamaha 1100 except for the V-star. I would assume that either he is talking about a V-star (which seems unlikely since it is a cruiser), or he is talking about two different motorcycles in this line. (i.e. ...vroom on theYamaha "and a" chromed out 1100.) My guess for the 1100 would be a Suzuki GSX-R 1100, since it is a classic sport-bike for customizers, and you see a lot of them being ridden by black guys with custom paint and lots of chrome. Any other ideas? Does anyone out there actually know for sure?
2005 Harley Sportster- good asking price? We are trying to sell our 2005 Harley Sportster 883 Custom on Craigslist and I'm not exactly sure what's a reasonable asking price. It has a few aftermarket add-ons, such as: *Chrome flame foot controls *Detachable windshield *8 in rear passenger backrest It was kind of an impulse buy and now we just don't need it financially. It was hardly ever rode. Also, the bike was dropped once and has a very small scratch on the bottom of the front tailpipe which is not visible unless you're laying on the ground looking up, and a very small one on the end of the front brake lever that is also barely noticeable unless you are specifically looking for it. Anyone with some motorcycle experience have any suggestions on how much we should ask for it? We still owe $2500 so is it ok to ask for more than that? I mean we did put money into it with the add-ons and it has extremely low miles. Well, thanks for your help :-)
2001 suzuki gsxr 600 extended swingarm vs. 2001 gsxr 750 stock? Hi I have owned many motorcycles before harleys, suzuki rf 600, ninja zx7r,prostreet etc. I am really looking to buy another sportbike again the local market here has a few decent prospects, there is a 2001 gsxr 600 with 8 inch swingarm chromed everywhere custom paint etc only 7500 miles and clean title for only 2500, but i have really been wanting a 750 or liter bike my question is can a 600 be built to outperform the 1000 or 750 or should i just keep waiting for the big boy bike?
Is it me or does Harley Davidson really seem antiquated these days? Now that I got rid of my 04 Dyna and got my new 08 Goldwing, it seems that just about every Harley I see is old/antiquated looking. I know its a personal preference and I wouldnt bash it but they seem so old and out of date. I went to a hot dog place for lunch and someone rode in on a brand new fat boy with so much chrome it beamed like the sun and it had a custom paintjob and matching helmet. I thought to myself "wow, it looks so out of date and all that chrome is such a waste of money". Im not bashing Harley owners but dont thier motorcycles seem old/antiquated/out-of-date with other motorcycles? @ r doug w..... First of all, Hondas are known for reliability, so you wouldn have to fix it. Second, newer Harleys are also fairly complex and it would take somone who knows what they are doing to fix them. @bikinkawboy.... I appreciate your intelligent post. First of all, you could pretty much say that most motorcycles look pretty similar, not just GWs. My original rant was about how outdated/antiquated HDs look. GWs maybe common but they do not look old or antiquated. Appearance is always subjective but then you need to refer to my original post. As far as your comparison to the cars you mentioned, they are pieces of junk (subjective) by most of the reviews I have read and read. Ford is doing better but Chrystler has always been crap. Most modern day cruisers look like Harleys because Harley has a niche in the market. It would be pretty obvious that Harley has its name and many people buy BECAUSE of its name, so it smart marketing for other manufacturers to copy its designs.. (Ran out of room).... A personal beef I have with HD is the fact that their bikes are dogshit slow. Most other manufacturers put in signifcantly larger engines but MANY HD owners buy a new HD and plan on increasing performance, as I did when I bought mine. Goldwings are being redesigned and will be released in one or two years. I can pretty much guarantee th just about every other manufacturer will be playing catch-up to the new technology they build into their bikes. You can take that to the bank!
