How do you keep your male bulldog from peeing on your chrome truck wheels? I've tried everything I know of, he still does it-except he'll do it when I'm not looking or on the other side of the truck where I can't see. He KNOWS it's BAD! He's 16 months old.

why cops target trucks/cars with chrome 24' wheels more often? im from texas and majority of the cars/trucks that are pulled over in down town are the ones with 22' wheels or 26's...can cops do that or are they just stereo typing only those cars more than imports?

I pointed the rust out to a mechanic (when my truck was getting a brake job).He said that I could have them re-chromed in a way (as long I stayed away from the acid based cleaner) that all I would have to do is rinse them daily in order to keep them from rusting. how do you keep your wheels shiny? I have crome wheels on my truck. When I use the cleaner they good for about 5 days, then they cloud over. Anyway to prevent that? What tires and wheels should I get for my truck? I have a 2001 Chevy Silverado Z71 that needs new tires. Right now it just has the factory tires/wheels. What year and make of chevy cars or trucks can I buy so I can easily convert my 68 chevy p/u to disk brakes? My '68 Chevy C10 shortbed has 6 lug by 5" bolt pattern. I want to convert to power disk brakes by adding a vacuum booster and disk system from the yard. I need to keep cost to minimum. Before I buy new chrome wheels, I should convert to the new disk brakes in case the wheels are 5 bolt pattern and not the 6 lug. What car or truck should I be looking for so as to get the newest condition disk brake parts, and yet be EASY for me to change over? If I bought the whole junk car, I also need, and might be able to use the vacuum booster, PS, and radio. My '68 has none of these things right now. how much should I ask for my 1998 Ford Explorer? I am looking to sell my truck because I cannot afford to drive it anymore. 1998 Ford Explorer. 220,000 miles, 4 wheel drive, heating/Air conditioning, chrome wheels, its in an overall decent condition. I was broken into twice, leaving me with the front passenger window broken, the tiny window in the back passenger side, my front passneger side mirror, all broken. And my windshield is cracked. Whats the difference between chromed steel and chromed aluminum? Im looking to replace the stock steering wheel in my Freightliner Commercial tractor truck to a wood and chrome very beautyfull aftermarket steering wheel. I found 2 identical, made by the same manufacturer, but one has chrome steel and the other(more expensive deluxe model) has chrome aluminum. What would be the benefit of buying the more expensive aluminum over the steel? It is a wooden steering wheel with chrome spoked center and horn button. Steering wheel shake on a brand new F-150 truck that has 20" rims? I am looking for a F-150 FX2 brand new and finally found "one". It came out with 20" Ford factory rims that look great. However, when I was test-driving, I noticed that I got a little shakes on steering wheel. It's fine at lower speed. Once it gets about 60 mph+, it shakes. Other than that, everything's fine (yes, it's brand new). I had them check tire pressure and re-testdrove, but it was the same. I did my research here and found that most of steering wheel shake issues come from misalignment/unbalanced tire balance. Because this is brand new, I doubt it. I purchased a 07 Tundra with 20" chrome wheels that were installed by Texas Toyota dealer (not Toyota). After driving 3K miles, I got severe shakes on steering wheel. I had them check it, and they replaced something (I don't remember). Then it's gone. I am now thinking that the 20" rims and tires make the shakes on the F-150. What do you think? Since this is the only one available, I need to buy this, but don't want hassle

When you were younger or even now, what car or truck was your absolute favorite? I've been a mini motor head since my teens. Raced powder puff on dirt tracks and drag raced at a strip down by Cincinnati. In the lat 60's and early 70's it was some what intimidating seeing a girl show up to drag race but after beating a couple of guys that openly ridiculed me a bond happened. What were favorite vehicles owned by you and why? What vehicle was your least favorite? My favorite was a 1969 Cevy SS with a huge engine (gas was so cheap in 71) I also owned a 67 Pontiac Lemans with a decent engine, traded up to the Chevy SS. 1950 Ford short bed pick up in baby blue with wide tires and nice chrome wheels. Didn't race that one though. My least favorite was a 70 Dodge Charger with the hidden headlights. Those darn things malfunctioned all the time. It didn't have a huge horsepower engine but sounded a whole lot faster than it was. Every darn time I came to a stop light, some guy would want to race. Just shook my head no. That was in 74 and married that year. That husband didn't like racing so I hung it up. Even though I'm older, would still love to strap on a helmet and give it a go down that quarter mile strip one more time. Strange Brew....wow I bow and give you respect friend. Considered myself fearless in my teens and early 20's but saw too many friends get hurt in Demolation Derbys. I always had this need for speed and like the fast track:-) tb163...Gosh the Chevy Chevelle and SS's were so awesome in the 60's! My brother in law taught me how to drive a 4 speed in his 65 Chevelle SS which was no easy feat cause that car screamed. He was very patient with me and had me shifting and clutching smothly in less than an hour. oops meant tbo163 How in the world will I ever choose BA! Why do all the mexicans in SoCal drive big a$$ trucks? Purely an observation, but where I live they have to slow down for a speed bump on a residental surface street right outside my window, so I get to see the demographic of who drives what. Overwhelmingly its mexicans who drive big V8 or V12 trucks needlessly fast, I can hear the big engines gurgle as they floor it off the speed bump..WHY is this? Some kind of road superiority complex? Wheel shine? Hi, my truck has some alloy or chrome wheels that are covered with brake dust and grime, I cant get them to shine like they did when I bought my truck back in 2004. When I wash them, I use Armor All wheel cleaner, I follow the instructions, spray on the wheel, let it soak for a minute then hose it off, but still the brake dust remains. smaller rims, high profile tires? my 94 suburban has 16" rims with LT245/75/R16 tires on it. Noise in the steering of my new 2008 Toyota tundra truck!? Toyota Tundra 2008 truck was purchased Monday, January 5. The dealer ordered this truck from another location. The truck had what I wanted but there were three items going to be added: backup camera mirror, bed liner and chrome tube steps. I was, at that time, very excited about owning a new truck. That Monday they needed a deposit to insure we had a deal. $500 for the deposit. Wednesday, January 7, the truck arrived at the dealership. This was the day to sign the papers for full ownership. The salesman showed me the truck. He insisted that I test drive my new truck. It was at that moment that I heard the noise in the steering. We told the salesman that the truck is very nice but we do hear a whining noise when steering the truck when we turn. He said I am very sorry about that, but that problem can easily be fixed. That sounds like a minor problem. We will have the service dept. fix it at the same time they add your extra parts. This led us to believe that this problem will be easily fixed and the truck will be ready to go. The papers were signed and a large deposit was paid. The projected date for installation and finish was either late Friday evening, January 9 or early Saturday morning January 10. I then received a call on Friday evening saying that the truck will be ready Saturday. Saturday January 10 came and I received a call from the salesman saying the problem in the steering had not been found. The service dept. said there was nothing wrong with the steering. I found out later that they just sat in the truck with the door open and turned the steering wheel back and forth and heard nothing. To them this meant there was no problem. The salesman did hear the steering problem while driving it to the service dept. He made them close the door, turn the truck on and drive it. Immediately the service dept. said, oh, there is a problem. This meant that the truck would not be fixed by Saturday. Then I received a call that they are looking at the truck to find the problem. That took all of the next Sunday. Then Sunday evening the call said they found the problem and they need to order a new cable. This cable is the airbag cable. I was told they will order the part Monday morning, January 12 and it takes a full day to receive the part. So Tuesday, January 13 they can install the new part. Come Tuesday the part was installed and the problem was not fixed. So I was told now we are on a touch and go basis and the service dept. is doing their best to research the problem. Now we had to let them know how we felt. The papers were signed Wednesday, January 7 and that is the date I received ownership of the truck. We told them that we were looking at reconsidering this deal because the truck has not been fixed. They have taken apart this truck and put it back together many times and the problem has still not been found or fixed. Keep in mind this phone call was on that Tuesday, January 13. They then said for us to wait and not to reconsider the deal. They said they will have their top rep and mechanic deal with this problem. It will take first priority Wednesday, January 14. Come tonight,Wednesday they said they still have not found the problem. I was told now that the regional rep is going to come tomorrow, Thursday, January 15 to look at my truck and look in the Toyota files to see if any problem has occurred like this problem. Now I am waiting for the regional rep to come. What should I do? I have owned this truck for a week and have never physically received it. Does anyone have any advice for me? This just makes me sad. Cleaning polised aluminum wheels? I have American Racing Atlas II rims on my truck that are the better part of 5 years old now. When I first got them they were shiny, but not like chrome. I used to take really good care of them, then I let the truck sit for a couple of years. I tried cleaning them today at a carwash and then with Eagle Never Dull, and they came pretty clean, but I know they can be cleaner yet. What would you recommend using on them that's safe for their finish?

How much would you pay for this truck? The truck is a 2006 purchased mid 2005, it is a Nissan Titan 5.6L SE and was purchased brand new. The truck is going on 3 years old and only has 18,440mi on it, it has an after market custom billet grill, flow master exhaust (cat back, 2” pipe with a 3” tip, very loud) and after market ION off-road black on chrome rims. The interior is near perfect with only a little “wear and tare” near the steering wheel controls, and next to the shifter, speaking of which is has full stereo controls on the steering wheel, 6 disc in dash CD player, after market Rockford Fosgate component speakers ($400), automatic control captain’s chair (drive side only). It is also the model with the shifter instead of the steering wheel shift (see photo below). The exterior of the truck is kept in almost mint condition, I wash and wax the car twice a month there are a few little tiny scratches and one super small ding on the passenger door (parking structures…what can you do?). The truck also comes with back-up censors on the rear bumper it has a temperature gauge inside the truck which also tells you which direction you are heading. Kelly Blue Book tells me the truck is worth only $14k which I think is a little low considering at going on 3 years old it only has the miles of a 1 year old car and has been kept in extremely good condition, not to mention all of the after market enhancements. Rims - Weight ratings (what dealer says vs common sense)? I was given a set of aluminum 8 lug rims that are 16.5" x 12" for my 1989 Chevy Suburban R2500. The rims are identical to the ones in the link below, except they are just bright aluminum rather than chromed. Any ways, there is a sticker on in rims that say "max load 2000lbs". This is where I am concerned, the Suburban I have is a 3/4-ton, however it is a HD model and according to vehicle scales it weighs 10,436lbs. It was a custom ordered vehicle with a one ton frame and rear end and massive suspension, if you do the math and distribute 10K lbs to 4 wheels, that exceeds what the rims state they are limited to. Now I know there is more weight on the front than the rear, but it still comes out as exceeding what the manufacturer says. Yet every tire dealership I have been to says it doesn't make any difference and it's safe to use these tims on this truck. Why are peoples general perception of cars so ghetto nowadays? I don't get rich people sometimes. Every time I watch MTV cribs and other crap like that, the celebrity is bragging about their Lexus SUV with 25in spinners or something just as pathetically similar. I just think that putting spinners on any type of car or truck is the most ridiculously dis tasteful excuse for a worth while modification since the beginning of time! Don't give me wrong, I think that custom chrome wheels look great on almost anything. But why do they have to disproportionately throw of the vehicles natural beauty with their obnoxious size? Approx. how much would my truck sell for? It is a 1992 Ford F-150 Custom with a 4.9L(300 CID) Straight 6 enigine. It has 170,000 miles on it, but the engine and transmission dont. I recently replaced the engine and transmission. It runs great, and I am not just saying that to try to have it sell for more. It has a 4 speed manual transmisson. I have put a K&N Cold Air Intake system on it and a Flowmaster exhaust. I just recently put 17" wheels on it with 30.5" tires. The interior is in very good condition. It has power steering and power assisted brakes that work very good. It has A/C that works great and has a custom stereo with an Alpine CD player and Kicker speakers. It has manual windows and locks, a chrome grille and chrome headlight covers. Im just looking for a ballpark figure and if you need any more information please ask. Anyone currently or know how to be spondered by RockStar Energy? I have a very nice Nissan Titan, Custom Grills, Custom Wheels (Off road black chrome and chrome, custom Flow Master exause system. My truck is very clean and looks very very nice, I see people driving around all the time plastered with Rock Star decals and I've HEARD that if you do that they make your cay payment for you as long as you are a rolling advertisement for them. Need Help restoring a 1985 Ford F-150....PLEASE HELP!!!!!? My dad is gonna be moving to Mexico soon and hes might be leaving me his 1985 Ford F-150. Its a great truck, its been running strong for the last 22 years. I can deal with a struggling motor for a while, im just focused on fixing the interior and exterior stuff first. By the way, its a two seater. Just that one row seating that could fit 3 people max. Does any body have any idea or clue how much it would cost for the following?: -Whole New Dashboard -Have carpet/upholstery installed on the floor -Brand New front Row seating -New Speedometer and every little gauge in that place -New Steering wheel and the case that covers the pole leading the steering wheel to the axle -Chrome Front and Rear bumpers -Paint Job -New Headlight and Tail lights -New Side Mirrors and the metal that connects them to the doors. -New Windshield If you can leave me a website link that has most these things, thatd be great. is this a good/fair deal on a 2006 dodge mega cab? 2006 dodge ram 1500 mega crew cab standard bed - 4wd slt - 36,590 miles - hemi 5.7 liter v8 sfi - 5spd automatic - chrome wheels - chrome running boards - 3 inch lift? - mostly powered everything - climate control - sec. system - in/exterior seems to be in ex. condition- they are wanting $22,995.00. does that price sound good? also, what kinda gas milage would i be looking at? do these trucks seem to satisfy ppl or be of more trouble than anything. i have a 97 dakoda with 232,000+ miles that has been gr8 to us so far, but wondering about the whopper mega cab.... also, does the 06 have the (thing) where it kicks out of 8cyl into 4cyl?

I recently replaced the engine and transmission. It runs great, and I am not just saying that to try to have it sell for more. It has a 4 speed manual transmisson. I have put a K&N Cold Air Intake system on it and a Flowmaster exhaust. I just recently put 17" wheels on it with 30.5" tires. The interior is in very good condition. It has power steering and power assisted brakes that work very good. It has A/C that works great and has a custom stereo with an Alpine CD player and Kicker speakers. It has manual windows and locks, a chrome grille and chrome headlight covers. Im just looking for a ballpark figure and if you need any more information please ask. what are the best things to get for skateboards? hey guys im liza and i wanted to start to skate. I already found the board i want, its an element pro board specialty and its the "tave mix tape". But since its not a complete board im not quite sure what else i need to get and which kinds..... trucks: black/raw, chrome, classic, gold, raw, or trinity? .... which size should i get as well? wheels: pro or pro featherlight or any certain brands you recomend and size?? what are bearings? and if i buy a screened grip do i take it to a skate shop and they will put it on for me??? thanks if you answer those questions and is there anything else......
