How can i paint my chrome wheels black? I want to paint my own wheels black but i need tips for it! Can anyone help me out. And would aircraft paint remover work, or is there something better to remove the chrome off my wheels.

How to refinish black chrome rims? Tinted windows and new wheels or a new paint job? So I'm about to buy a new car and I was just given a pretty amazing deal. I'm getting a 2007 Pontaic Vibe "lay off the making fun of the car, I need good MPG" and I was given the option of either getting free tinted windows and new upgraded chrome wheels, or a new paintjob. The reason for the paint job? The car is in red and I don't really like it that way. My payments are $219 a month and 0% APR for the next 72 months and they knocked it from $20 K to $14 K. My dad is the fleet manager so they are hookin me up. What do you think I should do? I wanted the car in Black or Dark Grey... Yeah they are going to paint everything under the hood. There's really not too much red under the hood so that's not the problem. Why don't I get the Black and Dark Grey? Because those are easier to sell for the dealership and they can just leave it at the MSRP price since they are pretty inexpensive cars anyways. As far as the title, doesn't say red on the title so that's not a problem either. I have an 04 dodge ram hemi, powder-coat OEM 20" wheels? The wheels are steel, with "chrome cladding" I was wanting to powdercoat the rims black. Will the oven they use for powdercoating melt the chrome cladding? If so, is it easy tho remove the cladding and just powdercoat the surface underneath... golf cart estimate? i have a 1999 custom EZ-GO golf cart thats silver with black pinstripes and the seats are two tone, grey and black with chrome wheels and carbon fiber dash kit, very nice and its electric but how much should i ask for it?

What kind of rims/wheels can I put on my 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT? I have a black 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT, and I want to put a set of chrome/platinum rims on it, but I have no clue as to if there's a certain type of rim I'm aloud to put on it...or how big the rims are suppose to be without them being TOO big. Are rims only for certain types of cars/trucks/suv's/etc.?

New wheels for Nissan Altima Coupe? I just got a brand new Nissan Altima Coupe in the dark slate gray metallic. It looks really good with the chrome exhaust tips and stuff for a stock car. It has hubcaps which look alright but I was thinking of getting some wheels. Nothing really flashy or ricer type. Maybe some black wheels or something? I would like some suggestions on wheels in the 100-130 a wheel price range. What rim company makes the best rims for a Dodge? I have a black 07 magnum and the only thing its missing is some nice wheels. Chrome for me is out, and I am going to go with black, maybe with a red outline. What companie makes the best looking black rims, or what rims would go best for a Magnum? No worries man, I am not a fan of oversized rims, Unless it is on a truck anyting over 18 is overkill. I was going to go with 17 or 18.

is it ok to be a cop if you are someone who listens to rap music and drives a black person car? i am a guy in my early 20's, i listen to rap music and i drive a car with big chrome wheels, loud sound system in the trunk, customized everything on my car, flashy paint job coming soon, you get the point. i recently applied to be a police in my area and i am well qualified. i have a normal haircut, clean shaved, no tattoos, no piercings...i have the appearance of a good citizen. once selected to the police academy and so on, will i be stereotyped by everyone who works as a police, because i know i will have to work with cops alot and park my car at the station. i know cops stereotype and racial profile black people, but since my interest and hobby is exactly that, would i be hated upon?

What type of paint should I use to paint the wheel center caps of my focus? I have a black 2001 Focus ZTS and I would like to have black center caps on my 16" wheels. What type of paint should I use to do it? The caps are chrome plastic. It would have to be a paint that would resist chipping....... Thanx for any help!

Anyone currently or know how to be spondered by RockStar Energy? I have a very nice Nissan Titan, Custom Grills, Custom Wheels (Off road black chrome and chrome, custom Flow Master exause system. My truck is very clean and looks very very nice, I see people driving around all the time plastered with Rock Star decals and I've HEARD that if you do that they make your cay payment for you as long as you are a rolling advertisement for them.
