would it be ok to go off roading with 18 inch chrome rims on a ford f150? I just got a brand new Ford F-150 xlt with an off road package and i want to take it off roading (nothing crazy, just like a class 1 trail). It has a chrome package which gives it 18 inch chrome rims. would they get damaged while off roading?

No one seems to have these rims any more (what a waste) thank god they were not more money. 18 inch chrome rims look dumb on an 04 Acura TL? Not asking if you like or dislike chrome at all... But size wise do you think it will look dumb. Can I order a 2010 Ford Edge SEL with 20" Chrome rims? The SEL model doesn't have an option for 20" chrome rims, as it comes with 18" chrome rims. The LIMITED model comes with the same 18" Chrome rims but has an option from 20" chrome rims. Will the 20" rims fit/work on the SEL model? And can I order the SEL with 20" rims?
How much to paint my 18" rims? A couple months ago my parents bought a set of 18" chrome rims from my uncle as a birthday gift for me. Would a 2005 Civic LX look wierd with 18" rims and other customization, but no body kit?? I've bought a 2005 Honda Civic LX I want to add 18" chrome Diablo rims, underbody neon, tinted windows, a new exhaust, sound system, a new paint job, and possibly more. I don't know if I want to add a body kit, though. It will be pretty expensive for the parts and labor/installation and a lot of the roads where I live have huge potholes and a lot of construction debris, so I think I might screw the body kit up pretty quickly. Do you think it would look weird if I got all the other stuff done but it didn't have a body kit. Also, would it look better if I lowered the car a couple of inches?? Thanks :)

Do Chrome Rims cause a higher car temperature? I installed a set of 4 18' inch chrome MB Design CLS rims with Z rated tires and i noticed that when iam running on high speeds (70-100mph) the temperature gauge stick goes close to hitting 3/4 of the gauge...this didnt happen when i had the stock tires but my guess is that it the rims are heavy and it is putting more stress on the engine to speed up because it is not a big engine its a V4 2.4L everything stock except for exhaust. Are the rims causing the problem or is it that i need a engine or is it another problem? The car is an 01 Eclipse RS with 79K miles if that helps. Much appreciated yes when i slow down to like 50 the temperature goes back to the middle of the gauge, its only when iam going at fast speeds and no i rarely go at that speed, its only once a week because i have to take a highway

Steering wheel still shaking..help please? I have a honda civic with 18" chrome rims & wheels. Recently had rear rotor's machined down coz steering wheel shaked when braking, then told the rear right wheel bearing needed changin, so changed it, then got front rotor's machined coz still shake when braking, then it shaked when normal driving, so got wheels balanced and aligned, now the wheel still shakes but only when it reach speeds 80km/hr and over! Took it back to the place that did the balance & alignment, said they did it perfect and no problems. So why is it still shaking!?! It's really annoying me that none of this fixes the problem or creates a new one! Thanks guys, by the way what i paid to get all this done, would not equal another civic with chromies. Well the shaking I guess shouldn't pose much of a problem right? Just that it's annoying at times. as long as my wheels don't fall off, i don't have time to bring it back to shops to fix...either that or if it gets really bad, sell it, buy another jap hottie. Also the rotors are ok, first they did the rear rotors coz they said it looked like it needed doing and the front looked fine, when i got it back, still shaked when braking, so got them to do the front rotors down, then it didn't shake anymore when braking, only when driving at high speed.

Just want some opinions more than an answer on rims for a Nissan Titan.? First of all I have a few Ideas floating around for what to do with my Black 4x2 Crew Cab Nissan Titan. I dont know if I should lift it and put 18" chrome with all terrain tires, put 22" black rims with chrome lip, or just go with a straight chrome 22". If I had a 4x4 I would no dount go with the lift, but I dont off road much, just pull a trailer full of quads every now and then. Funny Idea I had was to just go with a 22" rim and take 2 chrome and 2 black of the same rim and have the best of both worlds. 1 side chrome, 1 side black. what do you think? call me crazy, but noone would ever see both sides at the same time... lets here some feedback thank you

How much money do you think i can get for my car? Its a 96 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS. It has no problems at all. Runs perfect. Only 92,000 miles, pretty good for a car thats gonna be 13 years old. 5 speed, bright red with vinyl strip along the panels. 18" Chrome rims. Touch screen DVD, Navi, and CD player. Help finding some rims please.? My boyfriend has chrome motegi mr7 18" rims and one of them got bent and he needs to buy a new one but we just found out they are discontinued! He definitley doesnt have the money to buy 4 all new rims.. any idea where to look? already tried ebay! help pleeease

How rare is my Mercedes? I have a 1995 2-Door S500. I've never once in my life seen another like it, all I ever see is 4-Door S500s. Is there anywhere I can go to see the production #'s on my car? And it also has AMG 18 inch chrome rims on it as well....

Why are these new Audi rims so cheap? I found these rims on ebay and they are so much cheaper then any other rims I've seen. Any idea why? Are they low quality? If they are low quality will it effect the performance of my car?
