How to refinish black chrome rims? I drive a Dodge night runner and the wheels are black chrome, but my problem is that the black plating or tint I really don't know how it's done but it's peeling off and the normal chrome (NOT damaged) shows out more, my question is if I could refinish my rims easily without spending too much money. It just looks terrible when peeling off. How could I fix them? In case you're not sure how these wheels look just google image search dodge night runner. (Not the SRT-10) they're different.

My black Trans Am has black rims. Should I keep the lugs chrome or get black ones? The decals on the car are red, and there are accents of red inside the car. The only thing chrome on the car are my tail pipes. Blemishes from brake dust on chrome rims? I have a 35 coupe with chrome 20's and the rear clean very nicly, but the front one;s seem to be stained or etched into from the brake dust.
