Summary: to the oval, because the sides are a bit tight, but the liner is surprisingly plush and I find the helmet to be very comfortable. The internal shape seems to be unusual; it feels like it's round at the top, slightly oval at the sides, and opens up again at the bottom. I have an earth shaped
